about
A song encompassing that we can only do the best with what we have/know. To be mindful of the humanly temptations that can lead us off our paths, (mostly speaking into the NZ drinking culture-) the emotional/mental battle to keep moving forward that often occurs and to remind us that even if we don’t get it achieved today… or can’t even see the way forward… that the power of the mind is ultimately the foundational tool to getting it done, so don’t lose hope.
lyrics
Chorus 1:
I figure that someday I will find my way, But tonight..
I’m drinking that something out of Time and Space, Can I
Deliver my song into the night? True to what is on my mind?
Deliver my soul into the sky, Where those dreams all come from
Verse:
I’ve felt a lot of sadness, I fear I can’t hack it
I push a lot to the side, but the attractions like a magnet
There’s nothing really solid like the, Moon in the sky
To keep me from thinking I need, a bullet between my eyes
But that shit is lies, Cause inside- This what I find.
Pain and tears that rise, seem trapped and immortalised
At me all the time, Attack my peace of mind
Gettin’ at me now, tryna make me feel not fine.
I didn’t even try, I gave up inside it
I put that wall up yeah, my fate had been decided.
So I kept on going down that lonely road that no one knows,
But we all been there deep, dark down in ourselves cause ya
“Got so many friends around, you can’t help”
But get yourself out your shell and have a good time,
But now.
We’re kickin’ on for those souls who is lost, One more time.
And I’ma sing it for ya’ll.
Chorus 2
I figure that someday I will find my way, But tonight..
I’m drinking that something out of Time and Space, Can I
Deliver my song into the night? True to what is on my mind?
Deliver my soul into the sky, Where those dreams all come from.
Yeah-e Yay, Where my dreams all come from
Yeah-e Yay, Where my dreams all come from
Wooo ooo woooahh
Yeah-e Yay, Where my dreams all come from
Yeah-e Yay
